NFC Tags usage through Android App

Hi,
If I get to buy some NFC tags, will it be possible to create automations when I scan them with an android phone? For example, place a TAG near a garage door to disable Alarm

I think it can be done via the Automate or Tasker APP using webhook.

just noted that the app now has a setting named “NFC Tags” and I thought this can be used for such instances.

Just tested it myself, cause i had the same idea. You can indeed scan a tag to have an automation running

Yes, i would expect it works.

The cards im using so i can print emblems on them. They are hanging around my house (planning to) Some i use for lights, other for alarms and Music.

The automations vía NFC work just fine but… Why are they so slow? 5 - 10 seconds could be an eternity to light up a room
