Cant seem to get the duckdns sub domain to play ball with nginx?
When i try to look up my domain i am forwarded to my routers ip address instead of home assistant?
My port forwarding is set to:
protocol – tcp/udp
external zone – WAN
external port – 443
internal zone – LAN
internal ip (home assistant) IP address
internal port – 8123 (but i did have it on 443 as well but made no difference?)
DUCK DNS ORG
For some odd reason, all sub domains are automatically set to my ISP IP address?
I set the IP manually and hit update and should be carried to that target (Home assistant) but its always being diverted to my router?? the ISP…
NGINX
I set the domain to – nginx(dot)???(dot)duckdns(dot)org
But when i try visit this domain address, im sent back to my routers address? and im guessing this has something to do with the duckdns right?
The config yaml file is all set up and should bbe running perfectly because i got the all clear in green and restarted the home assistant
why cant i get nginx to work?
