Nginx: [emerg] host not found in upstream "homeassistant" in /etc/nginx.conf:56

Hi,

After reinstalling Hass.io and restoring a snapshot, NGINX wont start (even after uninstalling the addon and reinstalling)

this is the only error I see in the addon logs
[INFO] Running nginx…
nginx: [emerg] host not found in upstream “homeassistant” in /etc/nginx.conf:56

I really have no idea how to solve this… google does not yield any answers, any ideas?
thanks

I have the same issue.
I start it manually, but is looks like it won’t start, same message.
Maybe Hass.io supervisor 178 update is causing the problem.

same here, all my addons were stopped, now just NGINX won’t start.

well its good to know that im not alone :stuck_out_tongue:

edit: if you guys need external access now, for now im resorting to using a non-SSL proxy

Me too… unable to access Hass.io outside my local lan…

Same here

Same issue here…

Look at Line 56 of nginx.conf
What is there? Post it.

Post full .conf would work too

I presume it is this one:

Same thing here.

Can’t connect with public url. I’m only able to access locally with internal IP.

It is in process of getting fixed by update.
