I came across a number of nLight sensors at a very good price and I’m wondering if anyone has seen them before and knows anything about using them outside of the nLight system. As an example of one, here’s an eBay auction for one of the models. Each sensor is very stand-alone with a cat 5e pigtail hanging off of it. They’re intended to get their power via PoE and be controlled by some special central unit. I can’t tell if they are actually ethernet-based (I don’t want to plug them into my network until I’m sure…). Does anyone know anything about them?
