NMAP scan range

Can I give NMAP a range of IP addresses?

I currently do 192.168.1.0/24 but only 101 to 254 are DHCP so I could reduce the scan time by nearly half if I could just scan that range. Something like 192.168.1.101-254 ?

I only ask because my log is getting loads of these messages:

Updating device list from nmap_tracker took longer than the scheduled scan interval 0:00:12

No excuse but I read them a while ago and only saw my log msgs today.
