No access to UI

Please help.

For some reason I am unable to access the UI on any machine. All I am getting come up is net::er_empty_response. I accidentally did a reboot(fat thumb syndrome) instead of hitting hardware from my phone whilst trying to add some devices now I have no access. Is there a way to force access please.

Do you have samba or ssh installed ?

I do not have samba. If I am honest not sure about ssh. Installed duckdns and was in the process with let’s encrypt bit cannot remember where I got too. Bit vague I know, sorry, but got interrupted by the wife…

Any ideas? Or do I just go for it and reinstall HASOS from fresh? I have not been on it for long and so far only really added a few zwave nodes(although that was painful in itself and some nodes just disappear for no reason). I do not want to give up on it as so many people have great results, but I am struggling with HA right now…

You could put the SD card in another computer and make a backup of the configuration yaml files so you can see what you had done. Then do the reinstall.

Thanks fortwally. I had a feeling it would be a full reinstall. Oh well, at least I hadn’t done too much within HA. Learnt a lot over the last few days, so should be back to where I was within 2 -3 hours.

If you do reinstall, first and fore-all:
install the samba add-on and test if it works
install the ssh add-on and test if it works.
