I have trouble in accessing hassio.local:8123 on my mac, ipad and iphone when i’m in my local wifi but with my PC it works fine. I use chrome on my macbook, i tried chrome on my iphone and ipad…
When you connect using https://hassio.local:8123 , do you get a web page saying something to the affect that this page is not private or secure…? Can you use your duckdns.org address from your Mac?
when I try https://hassio.local:8123 I get “page not loaded” and at the bottom it says “DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN”
I tried this:
Go to the Apple menu, select “System Preferences” and click “Network.”
Change DNS settings on Mac
Enter password (if required to authenticate) to proceed with the changes.
Select the network connection you want to modify:
-To change Google Public DNS setting on Ethernet, click on “Built-In Ethernet” and select “Advanced”
-To change wireless network settings, choose “Airport” and, again, opt for the “Advanced” settings
If you want to replace listed addresses click +. Or, you can also add new Google IP address to the list. Type: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
I have had the same connection problem since setting up Hassio six months ago. At that time I read that iOS do not accept third party security certificates. So I thought the that was the problem.
Well, tried to connect my iPad on my LAN, once more, after reading this thread, and the my HA home page popped up. But I am not able to log in. - Not getting any errors message.
