No "add automation" option on Homekit app Iphone

Hallo, I do have the version of Home Assistant:

  • Core 2023.12.1
  • Operating System 11.3

My son does have a Iphone 14 with IOS 17.2.1.

I do have succesfully installed the HomeKit Bridge on
HASS via GUI integrations ( so no config via
configuration.yaml). I have included only input_boolean
where I have created an Toggle switch via helper.

I can add the bridge to Homekit on the Iphone.
On this Homekit app I do have the option

  • add an accessory,
  • add scene
    but no add automation ?

I do not have another Apple device in my Home.

The purpose of my question is that I would like to
create a precense sensor when the Iphone leave
or enter the home and changes the state of this toggle
helper.

What did I do wrong or is this a known problem ?

When I remember right, only personal automations are possible if you don’t have a controller (Apple TV, Homepod, Homepod mini).
Go to Shortcuts App —> Automation.

As an Android user Iphone has many secrets to me :-).
But this is what I was looking for. I created via the shortcuts App an automation. Keep fingers crossed to see that it will change my input boolean.
