No backups showing after upgrade to 2024.1

hi all,

i’ve set a NAS as my default backup location for HA.

when i navigate to the backups page in the settings, i can’t see any of the backups i’ve taken, whether automatically triggered or manually triggered.

in the NAS, i can see all the .tar files from backups, they just aren’t showing in the UI.

I’m now running:

  • Core2024.1.2
  • Supervisor2023.12.0
  • Operating System11.3

any idea how i can resolve this?

thanks!

Could you fix the issue in the meantime?
Just figured out I am having the same issue. It’s not displaying any backups in the UI, not on the NAS or locally. I can create new backups and the backups are stored locally or remote (NAS). But I don’t see any backups in UI.
Tried different browsers, deleting browser cache with no success.
Funny things is, I have second HA instance exact same hw, sw, etc. with no issue displaying the backups.
Thanks

nope, still having the issue and now running all the latest versions of releases

Looks like I fixed the issue today (April 4th, 2024). I am not sure what it actually fixed, so I just list the steps taken:

  • I deleted all my old backups on the network storage except the most recents ones (kept 6). I did this as it mentioned in another issue I found
  • I deleted and recreated my network storage in the HA GUI

Now, I can see all my local (5) and remote (6) backups again. The oldest is 3 weeks old.

I am running

  • Core 2024.4.0
  • Supervisor 2024.03.1
  • Operating System 12.1
  • Frontend 20240403.1

My network storage is a Samba Windows File Sharing -Samba version 4.15.13-Ubuntu (Default backup location).

Maybe it happened after a power outage in the remote location. My home-assistant (remote) and my network storage (local) run in different locations/networks connected by a vpn.

Hi all - i manually deleted a few old backups and then all of a sudden they all reappeared in HA.
