No battery status for LUMI lumi.remote.b1acn01 (Xiaomi Aqara wireless mini switch)

Hi,

I have two of the mentioned switches. They are discovered and I have some automations triggered by the button press actions. However, HA is not able to get the battery status. That will become a problem later on, since I won’t be able to know in advance that the batteries are running low.

I have tried removing the devices and rejoin them, but always with the same result: not battery status. Is this a known problem? Is there anything I can try to get the battery status?

How long did you wait? :slight_smile: I have Aqara devices that when added, showed the battery attribute but sometimes took about a 1/2 hour before the battery level was actually reported.
