No cover mode for Shelly Plus 2PM

Hi ,
I am using 5 Shelly 2.5 to handle all my roller shutter,
now I changed one to Shelly Plus 2PM.
I installed it in Shelly app as cover and it is also recognized
by HA but there is no cover mode for Shelly 2PM available,
I am using the official Shells integration,
somebody an idea what I can do
Thank you

I am not using the Shelly app, so don’t know about those possibilities, but when I log in on the local Shelly Plus 2PM web interface there is an Cover option available under: Settings → Device settings → Device profile

Shelly2PM-2

This is with the current Shelly firmware version 1.0.3

Yes I use the Cover Mode for the Shelly Plus 2PM in the Shelly
App but I can not use it in HA because it is not available!?
I can online select it as switch in HA , but why?

its a known issue, created a bug report for it a long time ago:

Shelly Cover Issue

Topic starter refers to the official Shelly integration.

Personally I have no experience with the Cover mode, but as I understand it Home Assistant should support and automatically recognize the Plus 2PM Cover mode when using the official Shelly Integration.
Are you sure you selected the correct input button / switch mode?
One more thing to try if you didn’t do this yet after changing Shelly settings: restart Home Assistant, as that might cause the modified Shelly options to be recognized.

This bug report is about the ShellyForHASS integration, isn’t it?
The OP is using the official Shelly integration.

Ah yes you are right, I will delete the post.

I faced the same issue
Did it work with someone?

I also have this issue and it looks like there is no update on this yet

Bought 19 Shelly 2PM and also getting this issue on 2 of them

Edit: Just saw that the entity wast not updated

Try to go to devices, search for it and check if you have the button to add it to dashboard. From dashboard you can then check the enitty ID

I also have this issue
no cover mode for shellyplus2pm

Were you able to get cover mode visible in hass ?

Here is my Solution:

ATTENTION: all entities change the Name!!!

Delete shellyforhass Integration in Hacs!
restart HA!
go to the Integration and download the offical Integration for shelly

Now your HA find your Shellys in the local Network! (also the cover mode for shelly 2pm)

After that you have to change all the entities for the shellys

after that is works fine!

I am a German Guy…Sorry for my bad English

Not working for me

Not sure if can help but try to calibrate the device first on Shelly app.

Try to calibrate your device first on Shelly app. After that “cover” mode appears on my HA after did the above step.

Hello,
I have the same problem. I have a shelly plus 2PM connected to a blind and configured as cover in device profile . I have tried to do the integration with Home Assistant and I only have the shelly smart home for such integration. I have 2 devices (for two blinds that I have) and I can NOT do anything with them.

Somebody can help me please?
Regards and thank you
