No energy data for February 29

At the midnight of February 29 all the entities provided by the custom integration that provides me with energy information stopped updating. on March 1 at midnight precisely they started updating again.

Clearly there is a bug somewhere related to the leap year. Did anyone get anything like this?
I suspect the issue is in home-assistant and not the integration for a few reasons:

  • I have setup a debug log for that integration. There were no logs whatsoever for Feb 29 for the integration
  • The official app/web for my solar monitor provider (it’s a cloud polling thing) was working fine.

but of course I might be very wrong, since it’s just more likely the ‘niche’ integration is to blame

Im not sure how to debug this in order to report it if necessary.

No issue with leap year / energy recording here.

Hmmm. Could that be caused by the wrong year in the date in one’s system?

I have a similar issue. ALL of my energy data for Feb 29 and earlier was WIPED! My data came back for March 1+ (so literally just yesterday and today), meanwhile I had almost 2 years of energy data prior to that! I changed nothing in my setup to cause this.
