Hi all,
I have HA 2022.11.4 installed in a docker container on my NAS and I cannot connect to it externally.
In HA Network Settings I have it set to http://xxxx.duckdns.org:8123 but none of the Android Devices are able to connect when not connected to WiFi.
Port Forwarding is setup on my pfSense Router to forward port 8123 → HA-IP-Address:8123,
Is there anything else I should be doing to get this to work?

Have you set up duckdns itself?

duckdns has been setup for years on the pfSense Router.
EDIT: Open Port testing tools show xxx.duckdns.org has port 8123 open.

And in the android companion app what do you have the url set to?
And can you connect from a web browser from an external connection?

Yes, that works just fine.

Quite simply your companion app cannot connect from that URL as it uses your local IP. When the android is not on wifi it cannot see your internal IP addresses.

Thanks for your reply.
So is there no way to make the companion app connect using the Wifi when at home and use the duckdns address when not connected to the WiFi?

The picture you posted shows how to. The Internal connection URL is for your home wifi and the home assistant url is for everything else.
