I have just installed my first attempt at HA and HACS, but at the top of HACS there are no tabs at all. It just says Home Assistant Community Store on the left and 3 dots on the right. Is this correct? other systems I’ve seen seem to have 2 or 3 including integrations and frontend. Have I missed something when setting up?
I know it won’t help you but i have the exact same problem. And not able to find any clue anywhere…
When you were installing HACS, did you tick “experimental features”? If so, what you see is correct.
This is what HACS 2.0 will look like. You use the filter (under the three dots) to switch between integrations and front end, which used to be done with tabs at the top.
Yeah you ticked the last box:
If you would like to go back to the old view:
Settings → Devices & Services → Integrations → HACS → Configure → Disable experimental features
Thanks for replies, but I have tried disabling experimental features, no change and under the three dots there are 3 lines( like an electrical earth symbol) but no frontend available.
If you really have disabled experimental features then restart and clear your browser cache.
Thanks, Clearing Cache sorted it.
I would like to install a frontend integration from a tutorial, which was recorded with a version < 2.0.0. Meanwhile we are at 2.0.1 and the last post in this thread was from one year ago.
I am not sure whether something has changed again, but I can neither find frontend, nor lovelace under the filters:
Was frontend renamed to something else?
Could someone help me out?
Thanks!
I have the same problem as the last post. I have been able to find what I had been looking for (card-mod, hui-element, button-card, etc…) under “Dashboard”. When I installed them it all seem to install correctly. But ran into problems running them without errors showing up. I removed HACS and reinstalled. There is no "experimental features” to select any more when installing HACS.
Not sure if this help, but I am very new to HA (4 days). I tried reinstalling a dashboard (aka frontend) HACS integration from Github which was the vacuum card. It never appeared as custom card in Dashboard. So I redownloaded the HACS Dashboard GitHub - denysdovhan/vacuum-card: Vacuum cleaner card for Home Assistant Lovelace UI
And at the end it says ‘Reload Browser’ to complete the installation. It finally dawned on me that I had multiple Chrome tabs open for Home Assistant. When I closed all tabs but the one using to install the integration and it performed ‘Reload Browser’, this time I was able to go to Overview Dashboard and add card and find Custom: Vacuum Card at the bottom.
