Not sure when this has happened or that it’s dew to the new phone (Huawei) but the location information is gone. Status is being showed as unknown and i don’t even have a location section in the companion sensors setting.
All the android permissions for locations are granted to the companion
Google Play services is required for location
So there is no go for huawei phones or some workarounds?
Have most of google services via gbox
Answer is simple. Just get the home assistant app via gbox google play ) Guess i’ve updated it through Fdroid
yup F-droid version does not have play services, only the play store version does.
