No more API access to Tahoma/Somfy - Overkiz (solved)

For several months, I’ve been running my Tahoma box with the Overkiz integration in local mode on my Home Assistant Green without any problems. However, since yesterday, API access is no longer possible. I’ve already restarted both the box and Home Assistant, and I also reloaded the Overkiz integration. Disabling and re-enabling the integration didn’t help either. Access to the box via the Tahoma app is still working fine.

Unfortunately, I’m unable to re-enter the login credentials via the Somfy website or the HA integration to possibly resolve the issue myself. Logging out of developer mode on the website and signing in again also doesn’t seem to be possible or available. According to Somfy, there is no known API outage. There also doesn’t appear to be any widespread issue, as I couldn’t find any similar reports in relevant forums.

Of course, I’d like to avoid deleting and reinstalling the Overkiz integration, as this might result in all 190 Overkiz entities in HA being lost or renamed, which would require updating all associated entities and automations.

Sure! Here’s the English translation of your message:

Problem solved:
This morning I remembered that there’s also a hard reset option for the box:

To reset a Somfy TaHoma Premium,
press the RST button on the back or bottom of the box.
Unplug the power cable.
Press and hold the RST button using a pointed object.
While holding the RST button, reconnect the power.
Release the RST button as soon as the box starts blinking red.
Wait until the LED turns solid white/green again.

The box will then reboot and come back online.
All data is retained during this process.

Afterward, I restarted Home Assistant and most entities became available again.
Some devices (e.g., smoke detectors) take a bit longer to respond.

The issue is (again…) caused by an update of Somfy/Overkiz. The hostname (gateway-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx.local) was changed to (xxxx-xxxx-xxxx.local). This was an unintended change and a reset does solve this problem.

Good to hear that it works again!
