No remote access

I’ve got myself in a bit of a mess!

I’ve just moved house and was using my Starlink with my Unifi Dream Machine Router from my old house so everything worked fine.

I’ve just swapped to BT internet and their router doesn’t allow bridge/modem mode so my Unifi kit is dead.

So, Home Assistant is now all working on the new router.

Nabu Casa isn’t and this has disabled Alexa.

In Home Assistant cloud, I get this

I’m not really sure where to start in terms of diagnosing the problem so any help would be gratefully received.

Thank you!

Exactly which model bridge did you get and what service do you have ‘BT Internet’ and ‘thier routdr’ tells us nothing.

Make and model of the terminal and what service levels you’ve signed up for (because how they provision)

It’s a BT (EE) Smart Hub 2. The “bridge” bit is just a functional element of the router. I think it’s either called modem mode or bridge mode so the router doesn’t do any of the routing.

What do you mean by “terminal”? And why is the service level I’ve signed up for relevant?

Ultimately, I am at a point where I know that I can’t (without a lot of faffing around) use the BT Hub just as a modem. My goal at this stage is to fix the Nabu Casa issue.

Unless you did something else, HA being hooked up to the router or the unify shouldn’t matter as long as it has internet access, as HA initiates the connection to Nabu Casa.

Would you use some VPN or VLAN?
