No Response in HomeKit but work fine in HAAS dashboard

I’m in the process of switching from Homebridge to HASS, and trying to set up HomeKit integrations. I set up HASS on Docker and everything including HomeKit worked great for a bit, but then all of a sudden HomeKit randomly said that all of my HASS devices had “No Response” and I couldn’t control them with the iOS Home app. They still worked fine when controlled from the HASS dashboard though.

I nuked my Docker install and opted to reinstall using the HAASOS on VirtualBox (Host OS is Ubuntu 20.04 on a 2010 Mac mini), I followed all the instructions as best as I could. I got my devices working in the HASS dashboard, but I couldn’t ever get them to work in HomeKit. They would immediately say “No Response”.

Normally I’d think this was a network issue and dig through my router (Netgear Orbi), but since it temporarily worked in the Docker install earlier I’m more inclined to think it’s something else. I’ve tried disabling IPv6 in HASS, but that didn’t fix it.

I have an Apple TV 4K as the HomeKit Hub, and I’ve also tried using a HomePod mini as the hub but neither change anything. What am I doing wrong?

Hi @Cobre see this post’s been a year and wonder if you have solved the issue eventually?

My config is similar to you (HA on Docker on Pi4 + HomePod mini as HomeKit hub) and it works quite well for a half year, but recently it’s getting unstable, and today everything is uncontrollable on HomeKit while fully functioning on HA dashboard. No luck after re-add HomeKit Integration on HA.

I feel that the instability become more severe after upgraded to Home Assistant 2023.1.4.
