No temperature and battery Aqara RTCGQ11LM and Zigbee2Mqtt

Aqara Motion sensor and Zigbee2Mqtt: no temperature and battery? Just can’t get it to work? Have reset and paired several times? Everything is updated to the latest version. Have tried with all my aqara motion sensors, model RTCGQ11LM.

What to do?

Battery can take a while (up to 24 hours), and the temperature is the temperature of the device, not of the room it is located in. Maybe try re-pairing close to the coordinator. And keep waving your hand while it is pairing.

I have one of those and never had any issues

Try this:
Press the pairing button once and see if it starts to report at least the battery values.

If that doesn’t work, follow @francisp’s advice and re-pair closer to the coordinator, but don’t wave your hand in front of the sensor. Those sensors will only detect motion once very minute, so waving your hand won’t help much.

Instead, briefly press the pairing button every few seconds until the interview is complete - I find that is more reliable for battery devices who decide to go to sleep halfway through the interview.
