Node Red add-on, Deploy Failed

I added a debug node to a flow and when I clicked on Deploy, I got this error message:
Deploy failed: No response from the server.

Restarting the add-on did nothing toward fixing the problem.

I tried to restart all flows and got this error:
Deploy failed: 502 Bad Gateway

I suspect this is because I changed my router and most of the devices got a new IP from DHCP. But that’s the only change in my system, therefore my suspicion.

Any suggestions for fixing this would be appreciated.

UPDATE
I have been doing some experimenting and tried different browsers and got the same results.
I restarted the host- no change.

When I went to the opera browser, instead of copying the URL from Chrome, I typed it in manually, but using the IP instead of homeassistant.local

This works:
http://192.168.1.57:8123/lovelace-hasp/0

This fails:
http://homeassistant.local:8123/lovelace-hasp/0

They BOTH open my Home Page in Home Assistant, but when I try to deploy, the latter URL fails with the message: Deploy failed: No response from the server. When I change the URL from homeassistant.local to 192.168.1.57 the Node Red deploy works fine.

Where is homeassistant.local defined? It is not in my /etc/hosts file.

It’s an mdns address.

So would that make sense that something Node Red is trying to do is not responding to an MDNS query? As I said, I can deploy when I use the IP address, but not when using the MDNS address.

I am not that familiar with node red.
