Node Red and Tensor Flow

Hello,

I’m looking to do some experimenting with Tensorflow. I’m running Home Assistant OS which I note doesn’t support the Tensorflow integration.

I thought i would have a go at installing contrib-tensorflow via node red palette but it fails to install.

Does the restriction on installing tensorflow as a Home Assistant integration also apply to installing via node red?

You need the AVX CPU extension to use it and that require a somewhat potent CPU.
Raspis can’t provide this and many of the smaller Intel and AMD CPUs lack it too.

That’s a shame.

It was a silly idea, but i was hoping to count how many times foxes and badgers went past the camera in the garden.

I think frigate us what people use and that can be done on a other computer and integrated into HA and it also can use a tensor stick to improve the calculation speed.
