I was hoping if someone can help me out, when updating to the latest Node-RED version (11.0.3) in HA all Call Service Node have dropped the Domain and Service details when I edit the node? In addition the drop down selection for each are missing. For some reason I have a number of Server instances “Home Assistant” entries, when I select a specific one I can view the drop down details however when I attempt to update the node with the relevant Domain and Service details it does not save (refer to B4 and after image)… I had to restore from backup to view these again.
I have tried exporting my entire Node-RED config prior to update and importing following the upgrade without success. I’m currently on (10.4.0). I suspect it may be related to the node-red-contrib-home-assistant-websocket??
Your home assistant nodes look like they haven’t been updated. Choose manage palette, installed nodes, search home assistant, bottom right corner there should be an update button.
You may have to push it more than once to get all the updates. Then restart nodered, upgrade the home assistant nodes, will appear next to the deploy button, then deploy.
I did notice that just before I posted my issue. I applied your recommendations and has resolved the issue… Mate you are a legend! Appreciate your assistance!
Hi Mike sorry to be a pain, one last question, as I had a heap of Home Assistant servers set up, I deleted all duplicates which have none. I now have 4, is there a way I can merge them all as one? Thanks
All good I worked it out, click the nodes on the right of Home Assistant which listed and located the nodes in question, manually updated to select the correct server item!
