Node Red consuming lots of CPU

So i have been running Hass.io with Node-Red for about 1.5 yrs total and switched to an Intel Nuc for the past 9mo. The system worked great. Recently at about 10pm and until ~midnight the CPU usage of the Nuc goes from 10-15% cpu usage to about 60-70%.

According to the Nuc processes, Node-Red is running super hard.

During this period Node-Red basically ends up with API issues in the Node-Red dashboard, so automations dont work. After this ends everything goes back to normal operation. I have no idea why it is doing this.

The only thing i have changed is that i switched from Xiaomi Gateways to Zigbee2mqtt. I had to add like 7 Ikea Tradfri plugs to support this, but during normal op everything works fine. I can’t imagine this is the issue seeing as mosquito is using minimal cpu.

I really don’t know where to start regarding troubleshooting this, but it is getting super old.

I had something similar with a Node I installed in NodeRED causing a memory leak which lead to my machine running slow after a few hours, I eventually removed the problem Node from my flows and uninstalled it from the palette manager and everything was good again.
