Node-red-contrib-home-assistant-websocket keeps uninstalling on HA reboot

This is weird. Everytime I reboot HA (manually or due to power failure), my NodeRed flows stop working - the principle problem being that it loses the nodes for communicating with Home Assistant

Each time I find the node-red-contrib-home-assistant-websocket component is no longer installed in NodeRed’s Pallette.

I manually reinstall it and all is fine. Until it reboots, then it’s gone…

Also - after installing, the component is showing it is at version 0.59.0 with an option to upgrade to 0.62.2 - attempts to do this upgrade fail and leave it at 0.59.0

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling NodeRed - same problem.

Any suggestions as to what to try next? I have root ssh access to the RPi on 22222 so I can look internally…

HA is running on a RPi, versions:

  • Core2023.12.4
  • Supervisor2023.12.0
  • Operating System11.2
  • Frontend20231208.2

Don’t upgrade past 0.59.0 unless you have Node-RED v3.1.1

If you are using Node-RED as an addon, then DO NOT update the WebSocket nodes.
If you have a free-install of Node-RED, then update Node-RED to the latest version.

Bit late to reply, but just for completeness - this issue did fix itself eventually.
