I have a RFXCom usb on my RPI3 and Node red and this module (node-red-contrib-rfxcom) it works fine and its better and faster than the RFXtrx component. (Using HA VirtualEnv).
So i tried to use this with Hassio with the @NotoriousBDG node-red addon on a Linux-based platform but it fails to load.
Have any of you had experience with this using Hassio on a NUC?
I added the auto_uart permission to the addon, which now means that all serial devices are automatically available to Node-RED. Update to the latest version of the addon and you should have access to your rfxcom device via node-red-contrib-rfxcom.
The addon supports both arm and amd64 platforms. It will work fine with hassio on a NUC or any other amd64 hardware.
