Node-RED: Get-Entities in Group = Labels, HA Helper Group or what is it?

It is not clear for me what is meant with the search option “in group” and the suggested answer group.group_name. The documentation does not even contain the string group. I could not find any documentation regarding that.

Is a group referenced as a label in Home Assistant or is it the Home Assistant Helper Group introduced in 2022.4?

If it’s the label, do i have to label the device or the entity i want to control?

It is for ha groups.

I have setup a group in Home Assistant:

And setup the get entities node, regardless if i use group.alarm or alarm i am not getting the entities.
Any hints?

Double check your group name. It should start with the domain(light, sensor, etc) of the group and not group.
