Node red // slow // response time // move node red to second rpi?

Hello,

Till last week node red worked perfectly, no problems at all. Then began trouble. Node red was getting slow in responding and finally i could not start node red anymore. I backup full HA daily so i reverted back to an older “supposed” working version of Ha, but the problem with node red did not disapear, even with an older backup nod red would not start.

I’ve tried removing node red and reinstalling, but the came the addon not starting problem. After 3 days of searching i finaly got node red working again. I’m importing flow by flow, and ad first node red is responsive, but after a couple of flows (does not matter which ones, i’ve tried them added in different orders) the app gets unresponsive again, as in inject on to call a service, light goes on directly, but the info on the screen delays with about 20 seconds.

I’ts very annoying and difficult to make new flows.

The debug info does not show irregularities.
I’m on HA version 2022.10.3
Node red version 13.4.0
Hacs 1.28

Any tips would be welcome to make this work again.

Would moving node red to a separate pi solve this issue? Or will it make things more complicated (Read unstable/unreliable?

Regards,

Adam

i’ve since managed to install node red on a separate rpi - connected with home assistant.
At first everything went fluid, but at the moment, node red starts slowing down again.
Some automations still run, others don’t…
Back to square one…

Other suggestions welcome!

Anther update,

I’ve did a clean install and backup from home assistant, and use a separate pi for node red. All goes well till i import one specific flow, then node red suddenly gets unresponsive. So apparently this is the curlpit of my problems.

I would like to post the flow, but don’t know how to paste code on the forum.
