Nodes not showing in Home Assistant GUI?

In the Z-wave control center in Hass.io I only see the hub, which is the AEON Labs ZW090 Z-Stick Gen5.

The OZW_log.txt, however seems to be normal…

Where can I start lokking for errors?

Try restarting Home Assistant.

I have restarted HA several times.
And even restarted the host OS.
I have started a heal network process one hour ago and still no progress

The nodes are clearly paired, what does your Home Assistant log show?

I noticed I have the service garbage_collection in my configuration, which the log showed is not tested for my version of Home Assistant.
I removed this config, and now the node list populates in the GUI.

All wired nodes seem to show up OK, but those running om battery do not show. Maybe because the are sleeping, and will be connected when they wake up?

Correct they will wake up and report in on their interval, best to just wait on those rather than mess with them. Good to hear you figured out the issue.

… which make me look for a solution where restarting Home Assistant don’t force reloading all zwave nodes. I have heard other users having the zwave stick connected to a separate unit that is not rebooted, and all zwave units are in place most of the time regardless of ha
Any pros/cons on that?

I’d say personal preference, letting the node check in on it’s own isn’t going to hurt anything. The sensor will still update if there’s a change.

I personally don’t see a point to have a “dedicated zwave” Pi or similar.
