Not being able to get a Sony Bravia TV to work with Google assistant

Hey an absolute noob here,

I have an issue accessing a Sony Bravia TV from google assistant.
The device is synced, but google assistant says that is is ofline.
Other devices work fine.
One thing that I noticed is that the TV has 2 entities, one being media player which is synced and the other is remote, which I don’t believe is synced.
So the question is how can I start troubleshooting in the first place :smiley:!

Unfortunately I don’t quite understand your question.

For Google Home/Assistant you need build-in Chromecast at you Sony TV and the Google Cast integration: Google Cast - Home Assistant
Then you can/must see the Sony TV under Google Home on you Phone/Tablet.
