Not getting entries on device control locked screen

I’ve got S24+ recently and wanted to migrate all the HA CA stuff there as well. First thing that annoyed me was that all HA tiles were hidden behind button in the drawer (OnePlus 6T had that on the power screen, so much more convenient…).
Anyway, I read somewhere that it’s possible to set those tiles somehow on the locked screen. So I configured Device Control (or whatever it’s called in English) by turning “Device control when the phone is locked” in the “Protection settings”. But there is nothing on the AOD display or when I wake phone up.

Am I missing something?

I have extended unlocking turned on. Maybe that’s related somehow?
In AOD settings there is some widget section but there’s only SmartThings there to turned on. No HA. But I think that’s not for this.

Or maybe I was living with 6T luxury for too long and the new experience is actually that hidden section in the drawer? Tell me that I’m wrong…

You want to enable device controls there then on the lock screen one of the shortcuts will be a house. At least that’s how it works on my Pixel.

Where? Can you make a screenshot with the option you’re suggesting?

I don’t see anything like that. There are only widgets, that looks kinda similar but there is no HA there or device control. First screenshot is from “Locked screen and AOD” and the second is from “Widgets”. Sorry, they are in Polish.

There’s also a way go into edit mode for the lock screen itself by touch and hold on it. There I can set widgets, edit wallpaper and change what those two buttons at bottom can do. But the only thing I can change them into is launching an app. There is no device control there.
