Hi
I recently bought 2 Reolink E1 Zoom cameras. The picture is great but the “stability” is not.
The cameras are often unresponsive in the app and in HA, meaning I won’t get a live stream. In the app it says Connecting…, and after a minute or two it usually does.
The cameras also reboots themselves every not and then, although I have configured them not to.
I am not able to control the switch “Push Notifications”, HA says its on/off, but in reality it does not have any effect on the camera (in the app I can see it does not matter what its status is in HA).
Im using the Reolink integration, not Onvif, I have set up separate users exclusively for HA in the cameras and I am on the latest firmware.
If you have the same camera, what’s your experience? Is it my setup that is at fault here, or is it a crappy camera? Any tips is greatly appreciated.
Pretty much the same problems here with also two Reolink E1 Zoom…
When the stream is running, all good. However, it’s extremely unstable for me as well. Sometimes it runs, often not. Also in the Reolink app it takes almost always several attempts until the stream is loaded. In Home Assistant I use the ONVIF integration, with the Reolink integration the whole thing is even more unstable. Initially I could still load the cameras in the web browser, but now that is no longer possible… Timeout when loading etc… I’ve tried pretty much everything, the cameras have an excellent WiFi connection, original power supplies, have been “reset” and freshly configured a few times and of course have the latest firmware installed. I’m pretty clueless and will probably say goodbye to Reolink (A Reolink C1 Pro had a total failure after a year)… Shame shame… Only I just do not know yet quite which cameras I should buy…
