Not initializing discovery because could not install dependency netdisco==0.7.7

I’ve just started to install HA on macOS and got this:

homeassistant.bootstrap: Not initializing discovery because could not install dependency netdisco==0.7.7

How do I rectify this?

Also how do I restart HA on macOS? I don’t have any available services call to restart??

You may have to install it manually. I know zero about the macOS but I moved this to the proper category. You may have to Google “installing netdisco wheel on a mac”. I ran into a similar issue when I was on Windows 10 and had to find a wheel (.whl file on windows) for it.

ok, managed to fix the problem.

Found this:

Installed it and restarted HA and now no error. :grin:
