Not receiving events in HA when ZEN 76 zwave switch is manually turned on/off

I am trying to set up a Zooz ZEN76 Zwave switch to always have power for the connected smart bulbs and have the on/off events trigger events in HA that I can use to control the smart bulbs that are connected to the switch. I’m having trouble getting HA to receive events from the switch when its manually toggled on/off.

The Zooz ZEN76 switch installed and configured in ZWave JS. The LEDs on the switch are lit, so I know it has power. I can flip the switch and the connected lights turn on and off, so I know the relay works. I have enabled smart switch mode (Z-Wave and manual control disabled) so that the connected smart bulbs (Wiz brand) always have power. I have enabled scene control in the advanced settings for the ZEN76 (see screenshot of device configuration settings). I can use the phone app for the Wiz bulbs to turn them on/off, so I know they have power and are working properly.

I have an Event listener set up in NodeRed, listening for ALL events that happen in HA and there are no events recorded when I press the ZEN 76 switch paddle on/off. I have a Zooz ZEN32 Scene Controller that sends events to HA without any problems

Any ideas on what to try next?

Some of my ZEN devices have done this.

Ultimately had to resolve by excluding device, factory defaulting device, then including and re-configuring device

I didn’t reset to factory default, but excluding and including it again fixed it. Thanks!
