Not receiving notifications on IOS App

Hello everyone,

I have HA local installed and it has conenctivity to Internet, but it is not exposed(it cannot be reached from Internet). I was reading that this is enough in order to send notifications.

If I am with my phone in the same network eveything is ok. But when I go on 4g I don’t receive any notification and also the app is not working anymore,but this is expected as it cannot contact the HA server.

I am using the below entity :

service: notify.mobile_app_iphone

Could you please tell me what I am doing wrong?

And what is your question? If you can’t connect remotely to home assistant, how should home assistant know where to send the message?

I am not sure from your message if you understand how notifications works for mobile apps.
