To give some context, with a sticky and persistent notification, with an action button as well, if you accidentally click on the notification HA app opens up. This can be a bit annoying. Yes the notification remains because of stick and persistent flags, but it would be great if you could just set the clickAction (url) to instead send the same event as the button. In the context where an automation listens for that event it can handle the notification dismission.
One confusing part is that the HA documentation alludes that this would be possible, but I am yet to find the method (method I am wrong, but if that’s the case, maybe the documentation needs an update)
In particular:
- For a particular action in Actionable Notifications, see its documentation.
