NSPanel Pro - configuring as a dashboard

I’ve got an NSPanel Pro which I’ve followed the guides to run custom Android apps on (NSPanel Pro - Custom android apps (working) - Hardware - Home Assistant Community (home-assistant.io) for anyone looking) and now I’m wanting to see how to be configure it as a HA dashboard.

Would it be best to install the HA companion app or to use HA just via a browser (such as with Fully Kiosk)?

How do you go about turning the screen on and off? I’ve seen “wake-on-wave” is best done via seaky/nspanel_pro_tools_apk (github.com) (which I’ve setup) but screen sleep is something I’m not sure on (can’t seem to work out how to feed proximity to HA).

Any other good tips on setting it up as a dashboard before I get to tackling the UI?

I used a lot of nice examples found here: NSPanel Pro with Wallpanel on Fully Kiosk Browser - #30 by Fugazzy
Running it on FKB pointing to a WallPanel on my HA.
