I am running home assistant NUC image. I saw there is a Bios update available for my NUC. I wonder is there easier way to update the Bios than connecting a display and keyboard to the NUC and using F7 bios update process with USB stick.
Yeah nah. Only way I have found with a linux distro is to use the F7 with the bios file on a usb stick and display/keyboard etc.
OK thanks! That’s what I thought. One system is located in a place where I do not have an extra display … that’s why I asked.
I updated another NUC system yesterday home with F7 procedure and that went just fine.
I feel your pain. A long HDMI cable can help lol…
In this case 200 km - where I can find that?

Hahahahaha… well it will keep till you are closer…
For the future maybe you could look at using pro mob with a Windows VM whereby you can use a GUI upgrade…
That makes sense! On the other hand I might not update the bios too often. Maybe I find a way other than a (very) long cable …
