NUC, HA OS & Google Coral - will they all work together?

Hi,

I have a NUC running win 11. I somehow managed to get hold of a Google Coral.

My question is, if I install the HA operating system on my NUC will the Google Coral work?

Iā€™m running a NUC, with HAOS straight on top of it, so not virtualized through Win11 or anything like that with a USB Coral. Works perfectly!

I struggled trying to get it to work when I was running HAOS through Proxmox so gave up on the virtual environment idea.

Any more available there?

I have a NUC i3 running HAOS. No Windows, no Debian, no Docker, just HAOS. Best thing I have done for my Home Assistant system.

Did haos automatically pick up the coral usb when setting it as a detector in frigate?

Mine did. All I had to do was change the frigate.yml:

detectors:
  coral:
    type: edgetpu

Same as Steve, added the same config to frigate.yml and everything just worked.
