How should I even begin to debug this? I can’t connect thru SSH, I know none of the add-ons are running. So It has to do with the OS I think… But how to debug? It’s a headless NUC atm. Does connecting a screen work?
Did you wait for it to update the database? Can take hours depending on Db size?
Hours… Ok, didn’t wait that long no. I waited about one hour I think.
Did disconnecting the mains and restarting it hurt this process?
Also My DB is on my NAS, can I see in any way if it still is working on migrating? (I can login to phpMyAdmin)
Connecting a monitor to it should work, but I don’t know exactly what information you can get from there.
Can I speed up this process by purging my DB and then reboot the NUC? I don’t really care about my history (3.1GB).
The problem might be on the NUC OS side, if you connect a monitor you can maybe see the error the OS is giving…
3GB will take a long time. If it’s just a MySQL one then you can just delete it.
Thanks all for the quick replies! Apparently my old NAS couldn’t handle the migration and MariaDB had crashed. After rebooting the NAS I could empty the DB and reboot HA-OS and now it’s running again like I’m used to.
