NUKI Keypad 2.0 - How to recognize who opened the door?

Hoy there!

I have a “problem” with my NUKI Integration.

I wanted to create a simple automation, which could recognized who opened the door, creating a tts for alexa to say “Hi XY, welcome home!”.
But it’s not as easy as it sounds.

The Nuki Integration has a few entities named “Nuki [Home] authorization: [Person]”, but this does not affect or show up the last login state, it only says if the code is enabled or disabled, I guess… Anyone knowing more?

There is another entity named “Nuki Zuhause Last Unlock user”, but it only shows the (like it is named) LAST user which opened the door (using the keypad or the app), but not the one, which just opened the door.

Any of you did something similar which I wanted to do?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, can’t answer your question but how did you get the Keypad 2.0 into Home Assistant? My Smartlock 4.0 is already there but I have no clue how to add the Keypad. Thanks!

Sorry for the late reply.

Answering your question regarding how I managed to integrate my keypad:
Well, I didn’t actually.

All I did was to integrate the Nuki itself via the following addon, and there seems to be an option named “Nuki [Home] authorization: [Person]”, thats all I know so far.

Kind Regards,
Peter from Belgium (but acutally speaking German lol)

Hello,

any new solutions for adding a newly integrated keypad to an existing MQTT connection of a nuki lock?
