I put together a simple GIT expanding on the work by SAM CROSS.

This allows me to simply change the LED colours via home assistant i.e. turn green, red, white etc via an automation or the dashboard. I have mine to change when my webcam is active or on a teams call.

I think you may be a little confused. There is no file in HA named config.YAML. You may be thinking of configuration.yaml.

Thanks I’ve updated the GIT. The reason to call it something that isn’t configuration.YAML was to stop people mistakenly copying the information and overwriting everything in their configuration.YAML which would clearly cause major problems. I’ve changed the instructions to hopefully make it clearer.
