Occusim - Morning light based on time and sunrise state

Hi everybody !

I have a question, maybe stupid, but I don’t find how to do it.

I want to have the light turning on based on the sunrise and time.

I want to have the lights turned on between 06:30:00 and 07:00:00 but only if the sunrise has not occured (so basically deactivate in summer and activate in winter

Any idea on how to do it?

Condition is what you are after. Probably based on sunrise.

Thank you for your answer, but I don’t see any option in occusim in order to add a condition.

I have now googled occusim and know what it is! I apologise, I had the wrong end of the stick before.

What you want to do is quite easy in a normal home assistant automation. I am not even sure what occusim does - what on earth is an occupation simulator?

Anyway, sorry for intruding on a thread I know nothing about.

No worries ^^

I find occusim useful because it easily implement randomness in the light/activity schema.

It allow my house to “act” as if someone is present (lights, TV on etc).

And one thing that I found very useful is the ability to link events even with randomness)

If you want to know the status of the sun, use the https://www.home-assistant.io/components/sun/ component.
