I have an unusual experience whereby my zigbee lights (innr) flash on and off at the point theat I access HA by the HA web interface.
It requires that I have not accessed the interface for a short while, not established how long yet, and then switch tab in my browser to HA. As I do that, I get a quick pulse of light, which looks very similar to that which I get when I re-configure the lights.
It is not a serious problem, just very odd that accessing the GUI has this effect on Zigbee devices.
Has anyone else seen this, is there a good reason why acessing the web interface might send Zigbee commands?
Thanks for any interest in this odd behaviour.
Regards,
Chris.
I know this post is almost a year old, but did you have figure out what was happening? I have the same thing happening with one of my zigbee plugs that is hooked up to some lights. It is also my only zigbee plug that doesn’t report power readings so I might just end up replacing it.
I did not figure it out completely, but in my case it appears that the HA Web GUI was re-issuing commands on a refresh. i.e. when I returned to the UI the page would update and the process of updating would result in the zigbee integration re-issuing commands previously sent. I suspect the zigbee update API call was including a previously submitted value as that was the last thing sent before this update request.
All still guesswork on my part as I have not noticed the issue recently. But then I do not sit under those lights much now.
