Hey guys,
I´m stuck after a fresh installation on a 32gb sd card.
HA boots and CLI is starting, however it fails with:
Error returned from Supervisor: System is not ready with state: setup
systemd[1]: systemd-timesyncd.service: Watchdog timeout (limit 3min)!
Any help is welcome, thanks.
Hi there,
I’m running HAOS on an ODROD N2+ using emmc storage (recommended configuration) with an external USB SSD, and I’ve not experienced any low-level faults. I hear that there can be failure issues with SD cards over time.
Your error comes from systemd, the system and service manager used by most Linux distributions. So my guess is that you might have a file corruption. Maybe you can simply reinstall and try again (?). I do suggest picking up an emmc if this will be your primary home automation controller.

Hi,
thanks for your reply. I had the same idea and flashed already multiple times and used different sd cards. Unfortunately with the same result. Maybe I should switch to EMMC.
OK, it appears to be something else, then.
Have you tried installing something different, such as Debian 12? If you have a hardware issue then I would expect other OS’s to have similar problems. (The only common issue I know is to have a failing or inadequate power supply.)
