I was running my HA on sd card for 6mc but as expected it died. So purchase new Sandisk endurance 64Gb install HAOS on it and connect ssd through generic adapter with VL711s-q4 chip on it.
Transfer OS with build in HA feature.
With that setup on my Odroid N2+ im experience stability problems with:

-Buffer I/O error on dev sda1, logical block 135858, async page read
-I/O error, dev sda, sector 2080 op 0x0:(READ) flags0x80700 phys_seg 8 prio class2
-usb 2-1.3: device not accepting address 5, error -71
Also similar errors.
So my thinking is dead ssd but when I connect to windows PC. System recognise it and SMART look OK also surface test is ok.
So I presume drive is ok. Now question with adapter compatibility.
I have read that not all are compatible with system and best are on JMS578 chip. But that problems are with RPi 4 but not odroid.
To eliminate issue with adapter any recommendation for fully functional usb to sata adapter with HA and odroid?
Someone probably will mention why not use emmc. Well its easiest method but prices in UK are nuts.
32GB emmc from official HK site will cost you £20 but it will take month to arrive this same card from UK distributor whooping £60. Its absolutely ripoff.
I have 128GB ssd and wear its minima compare to emmc so in long term its better.
