Official HA app not updating status unless force close

Running the latest home assistant and the andriod companion app home assistant doesn’t seem to update the front end unless I force close and reopen?

Anyone have an idea why this is happening?

I reinstalled the app and logged out and back in same problem.

What version of HA core are you on?

Ah I see there is a. 8 release from yesterday trying it out now…

I’ve updated to latest core and android apk and am still having this (or similar) issue. Entity values not updating in front end unless force close when tablet has been idle with screen off for a while.
