Offset and filters as UI helpers

There have been some great improvements in the ease of use of this year. I really like that helpers get added to a device when they modify an entity of that device. It would be really nice to bring the same UI awesomeness to filters and a simple offset helper.

Some basic smoothening options would be nice to have for filters.

The offset could be used to calibrate/correct a temperature sensor by 1 or 2 degees for example.

Can you provide an example of where this feature did that in your system?

Thanks. That’s the one helper I don’t use which explains why none of my other helpers automatically ‘bind’ to a device.
