OHLUX BR30 Smart WiFi LED Bulbs

Anyone familiar with these? It’s clear Philips is happy at $50 each, but these are 4 for $50 on Amazon and I’m hoping I can use them with HA.

EDIT: Pulled the trigger on a 4-pack and 2-pack in and only the 2-pack bulbs would flash, so the 4-pack must be the new PSK 02 issue. I went through the flashing and config for the two old ones and MQTT won’t discover them. They work fine from their web UI and MQTT works fine with my Blue Iris. I used the full blown tasmota.bin ver 8.4.0 and tried SetOption19 1 to no avail. The console showed a lot of "retained"s in the console and no errors. “Enable newly added entities” is on in the MQTT integration. Also removed/reintalled MQTT.

Finally gave up and installed a platform under lights and they work well.

i’m interested in these. do you have steps for how you set them up?

I used tuya-convert: https://tasmota.github.io/docs/Tuya-Convert/

There’s a chance they won’t work as some of the bulbs I received had the newer firmware that hasn’t been cracked yet. The 2-packs I received worked but not the 4-pack. I re-order 2 2-packs and they also worked. Your mileage may vary.

I’m integrated to get those BR30 too. Is it bright enough for kitchen? You mentioned 2-packs work with tasmota. Currently the link only has 4-packs, so I guess it won’t work with tuya convert. Is it works with smart life app? If so we can still try to use local tuya.

Thanks.

Based on information i found in this thread i ordered the OHLUX GU24 two pack hoping they would be flashable. They are not flashable via OTA.
