Did you find anything as Iāve just had mine installed
I would also really like this but havenāt managed to find anything yet.

Thanks for getting in touch.
Solar integration is a feature that is currently in beta to be released sometime this year but we do not yet have a confirmation on the exact timeframe.
In the meantime, we have provided a short term workaround. You can select the Solar vehicle profile in your Ohme app > Manage My EV.
This car has specs to trickle charge at 6A and max charges at 10A.
We do apologise this is not the answer you may have hoped for.
Kind regards,

Hi,
Sorry to write on an old threadā¦
I was bit surprised to find no integration currently in progress for Ohme charger.
This thread seems to be the only one, and I wanted to work out if there were any work in progress?
Have any of the people on this thread come across anything?
I unfortunately do not have the coding ability to implement it, but happy to work with someone to define/test it
Ohme answer when i asked if they are working on an api

thanks @luwidgiani I had noticed that above, and got the answer too from Ohme before.
Solar integration is not just what I am after, as I doubt this will end up being compatible out of the box with my specific systemā¦ though one never knows, could be lucky.
What I would much prefer is being able to control my charger directly from within HA, both for Solar and other automationsā¦
Meanwhile, I will use the Octopus integration I think as this will enable charge on/off control, and combined with my luxpower integration, I can do some sort of Solar offloading logic.
I agree, they didnāt want to say āno we arenāt doing anything like thatā so they brought up the solar integration.
Would be really interested to hear how far you get with this. Iām currently running the car charge off a regular outlet integrated to HA, grabbing the electricity when itās free, and with an override to just pay for electricity if we want the car to be at a certain percentage.
For this I guess I just need an on/auto override, but it smells like Ohme wonāt give me that by default.
Iām bored of waiting for Ohme to get their public API sorted out. They seem quite proud of their Trustpilot score, so Iād suggest we create some pressure on them by giving them a review here - Ohme Reviews | Read Customer Service Reviews of www.ohme-ev.com
Me too, be interested if anyone has Ohme showing in Home Assistant?
I know this is not what people are after regarding HA integration but follow up to what Ohme have said about solar integration, that is coming at the end of August/Start of September.
Maybe this will also be when the API will be released to support it?
Hope so.
I asked if the API was going to be made available for home automation. This is the respone. Seems positive.
I hope youāre well.
This is something that is on our current roadmap, but we are unable to confirm a timeframe on this as of yet.
We will be sure to update all of our customers once this is available.
Hope this helps, should you have any questions regarding this please do not hesitate to ask.
Best Wishes
Jess
I work for a technology company in a similar area and recognise the careful phrasing used here, which translates to āno, weāre not going to do this.ā Sorry, but didnāt want you to get your hopes upā¦
Funny enough,
I just got a reply from their support that nothing was foreseen regarding a cloud API BUT they told to the development team that this is a feature I would like to see in the future.
so as @daern and @mattduffy941 saidā¦ donāt wait too much for it, go look somewhere else

*UPDATE 10/02/2021: Sadly Ohme has not seen this as an option and have asked me not to share it.
2021 says it all We will never see any API from this brand / products. they are just not interested in giving the extra thing that may make you want to get their products.
While not a direct API with Ohme, Iām using my charger with Intelligent Octopus (electricity supplier) who do provide an api. They also connect to the Ohme charger and now in home assistant I can have some control and view of the Ohme charger. Ironically enough the whole point of intelligent octopus is that they control the charger and they are able to change the charge rate and use multiple schedules and even modify those schedules to suit. Itās exactly the kind of api with HA that I think we would all like but in all honesty Intelligent Octopus takes all of the hassle away.
@phiebs sadly that integration doesnāt work properly for everyone. My car is not an API enabled car (Mazda CX-60) from IO approved cars perspective so the IO integration and the Octopus integration doesnāt pick up additional slots or any charging info and doesnāt actually do any control over the Ohme charger - Iām guessing you use the Octopus app itself to control charging rather than the Ohme app?
Nope Iām using the Ohme app as my car also isnāt api connected. Due to how the slots work and change itās almost impossible to predict the cheap rates, I let it do its thing and have a template sensor that changes to cheap if the car is charging outside of the night rates. But I do get controls for when to finish charge by, preconditioning and boost charge. Iām using a separate integration from the car to check charge rate etc so works for me but agree it would be nice if Ohme opened up their api more.
