I had to delete my auth credentials as described here Authentication - Home Assistant
but the “onboarding.html” keeps showing up after I created a user. in the file system I can see newly created auth files, but the onboarding screen keeps popping up no matter what I do.
any ideas how to overcome that?

Have you tried clearing your browser cache?
unfortunately that didn’t help…
